I left an unhealthy marriage with three kids in tow and have been scraping by for nearly two years. I want to open a safe house for men and their children who need a safe place to flee to since there are no services available for them. The issue is abuse.. not just woman abuse because the statistics are alarming for the number of men who have no place to turn when their home is unsafe.Please help me help others. I am trained in family violence and want to help others as others helped me when my ex wouldnt stop drinking and it was unsafe for us to stay in the family home. I cant do this on my own so I am begging for help with my project.The children have to be protected at all costs as does the non violent parent who flees.I need money to rent a house and salaries for the first month until government payments come in.
